මොරටුව විශ්ව විද්යලයේ හරිත මිතුරු කැළ (Nature Team) විසින් පස් වන වරටත් වාර්ෂිකව සංවිධානය කරනු ලබන "නෙතදර" පරිසර ඡායාරූප තරඟය හා ප්රදර්ශනය මේ වසරේත් සංවිධානය කරල තියනව.
පාසල් හා විවෘත යන අංශ 2න්ම මේ තරඟය සඳහා ඡායාරූප ඇතුළු කිරීමට ඔබට පුළුවන්.
ඡායාරූප භාරගන්නා අවසාන දිනය 2011 සැප්තැම්බර් 10 වන දිනයයි.
ලංකාව තුළ ගන්නා ලද ගස් වැල් මල් වල ඡායාරූප ඔබට මීට ඇතුළත් කළ හැකියි. (සිරකරගෙන සිටින සතුන් සිටින ඡායාරූප භාරගන්නේ නෑ.) එක් අයෙක්ට ඡායාරූප 10ක් උපරිම වශයෙන් ඇතුළු කරන්න පුළුවන්.
ප්රදර්ශනය පැවැත්වෙන්නේ සැප්තැම්බර් 21, 22 දෙදින තුළ ජාතික කළා භවන තුළයි.

Competition
The environment has its own versions of beauty. No matter you live in a remote village surrounded by beautiful mountains and streams, or in a town with several numbers of trees and many buildings, the beauty of the nature can be experienced in different scales. Unless you stop and look around you will not find the true enchanting beauty of the nature.
Aiming to encourage people to grab the nature around them in to a photograph, “Nethadara” photographic competition is expected to create awareness on the natural beauty in the environment, among the community and to promote the natural beauty of the university itself.
The categorization of the entries to the exhibition, are expected to be in 3 groups.
• Open category
• School category
The society is expecting the participation of the following communities in the event
• Undergraduates of Universities
• School Children
• Members of environmental societies
The contents of the photograph should concerning the environment and natural flora and fauna which were taken within Sri Lanka. Animals in captivity cannot be included.
A number of 125 entries would be selected by a panel of judges including the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places of each category and would be displayed in the exhibition as well as rewarded with a valuable certificate. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd places would also be rewarded with cash prizes.
The photographs should be unframed and not mounted having an effective area not less than 8" X 10". The maximum number of entries by one person for the exhibition is limited to ten (10). An entry form is valid for one photograph. (Photocopies of the entry forms are accepted) Each entry of school applicants should be certified by the principal saying that the photographs are own creations.
The photographs should be sent via post to "Nethadara 2011", Nature team, University of Moratuwa. or delivered by hand to the postal unit of University of Moratuwa on a weekday during office hours on or before 10th September 2011.
